Water Aerobics:

The Springs Sports Complex is pleased to be one of the few pools in the area that offers an extensive variety of water aerobics classes. We have the latest water aerobic equipment, from water weights, hand gloves for resistance, noodles, lap boards, and water weight belts for deep water exercises. All our instructors are certified, and regularly take classes to educate themselves on new techniques in water aerobics.

Our water aerobic classes include Aqua Combo, a fun class which includes a warm up, a 35-minute class combining both shallow and deep water exercises, and a five minute cool down. It is low impact, easy to follow, yet challenging even for the experienced exerciser. It consists of water walking, jogging, kicks, and kick-boxing. Remember it’s all what you put into it!

In addition to our water aerobic classes, we offer Sculpt & Tone: a unique class that is designed to tone and stretch your muscles. The instructor will use pilates inspired concepts and moves, dumbbells, and your own body weight to improve your muscle tone, posture, and core strength.
Yoga

A relaxing blend of meditation, gentle flowing yoga and soothing stretches. Get all of Yoga's well-known benefits: balance, flexibility and strength.
Bosu Ball

A bosu ball is a half ball with one completely flat side that can lie flat on the ground. The opposite side is the ball side. Essentially, it's an exercise ball cut in half. The bosu ball can be used to increase balance and strength. Look for these classes on the new schedule which will be posted at the end of December.
 
Pilates

This class is a safe sensible exercise system using a floor mat and your own body weight. Pilates builds strength without building bulk, improves flexibility and agility and helps prevent injury. No matter what your condition, pilates can work for you!
 
Fitness Class for the “Gracefully Aging”

This 45-minute class will help:
  • Improve your balance which will help decrease your chances of falling
  • Improve your strength which will help everyday activities
  • Improve your flexibility which will help decrease muscle soreness and help prevent injuries
Everyone must pre-register. $36 for 6 classes (please pre-pay). No additional fee if you are a current member.
 
Latin Spice Dance

A Dance class full of mambo's and cha-cha's and lots of FUN! A great dance class that will make you sizzle.
